If your H5830 won't connect to the H5044 gateway, first update the app to version 7.4.20. Then update the gateway firmware to 1.03.08: power cycle the gateway; once it reconnects, it will check for updates within 3 minutes. The update takes about 10 minutes. Firmware versions above 1.03.08 will support binding to the H5830.
